WeeKenDance is a fast paced action ride through great Dance sounds. The show has had lots in input from listeners, peers, dance music maniacs and Australia’s greatest radio industry talent at AFTRS (Australian, Film, Television and Radio School).
Show Format
WeeKenDance showcases the latest Trance & Progressive, Dance and Happy Hardcore sounds with some great twists. Here’s what you’ll find on the WeeKenDance Journey:
Hit Alert – WeeKenDance has the sounds before they get big. Be the first on your feet to what’s going to be a future classic sound.
Classic Dance Track – This has become a favourite segment. During each hour of the show I’ll play a classic dance track which will either take you back on journey or introduce you to dance sound and artist you need to know.
Double Happy Hardcore – The first hour of the show climaxes with a frenzy of fast paced sweet Happy Hardcore sounds guaranteed to lift you right up!
Artist Background – Find our interesting facts behind the great tracks and artists helping you appreciate your favourite track even more.
Celebrity Gossip Countdown – Each week I present the top 3 and most current bits of celeb gossip to compliment your WeeKenDance experience. I’ll make sure you get the juice ahead of the pack.

Hi guys! Just wanted to let you know how much my friends and I love listening to your WeeKenDance from 8-10pm on Saturdays. It's really great music and always gets me in the mood to go out partying. There is hardly any music like this on Sydney radio stations and we really need more of it. This show reminds me of the good "old" days of Free-FM and Wild-FM when they were on the radio a few years back now. And can you PLEASE put more Milk inc. songs on coz they are the best dance act ever!!! Thanks and keep up the good work Edward! Yours truly Brad and friends.
Watch out Nova, 2JJJ and 2DAY FM is all I can say. Edward, WeeKenDance is the best dance radio show in Sydney by a mile, thanks for saving Saturday nights. The others just play outdated stuff and long boring tracks. Mate you have a reliable and polished show. It turned my BBQ last Saturday into a party and even the neighbours didn’t complain when we pumped it up! Keep up the good work. Chris.
